Environmental reviews are conducted pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), where the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) is a leading, responsible agency. GEPermit, a CPUC certified WBE firm, has the necessary expertise to provide permitting services for utility companies needing municipal and environmental consulting services for their projects within the public right-of-way.
The GEPermit staff has supported preparing multiple planning documents for transmission line facilities and land lease sites. In addition, we assist with the writing of proponent’s environmental assessments and initial studies and preparing the environmental assessments in Northern and Southern California regions.
