GEPermit provided environmental monitoring and management services during the construction phase of the $14 million renovation of the Torrey Pines South Golf Course’s Rehabilitation Project. GEPermit oversaw biological, Native American

archaeological, paleontological, as well as provided noise monitoring services under the prime contractor Landscape Unlimited’s Golf Design and Construction Management services. This renovation was completed in preparation for the U.S. Open Major Championship scheduled for June 2021. 

The GEPermit staff was responsible for the weekly environmental team meeting and daily monitoring of data records. In addition, the staff identified potential noise and habitat concerns during the heavy construction days, a duration from February 18, 2019 through October 1, 2019. The project was successfully completed on time and with full client satisfaction.
